What Tranny Does My Expo Have ?

I have the 5.4 so does that mean I have the 100 or the 70 trans ?

It means you have either the 4R70W or the 4R100. That was helpful, wasn't it?

Seriously, both transmissions were used with the 5.4L. If you open your driver's door there is a blue tag. There is a column that says "TR." Under that is either a "U" or an "E." "U" means 4R70W and "E" means 4R100.

Yep, the 4R100 is used on the Expy. It's internals aren't the same as in the Lightning or in the SD's but a 4R100 just the same.
