Cool

Heheh. I have not seen "write back" at the end of something since middle school when the girls would write you a "note"

I think it just increases line pressure by cranking up the shift solenoids. Susposedly OK on the lower settings, can be problems on the race settings.

Well, I wouldn't think it's *good* for the tranny, in fact I think it will shorten the life span of the solenoids. The lagged shift is still in the ECU programming. Check the chips section for more on all of that.. All things being equal, gears will wear out a tranny faster because it spins faster for the same distance traveled. But gears are where it's at to cheaply wake up a vehicle.

Hey 97Triton4.6,
Have you tried doing a search on related threads to the B&M Electronic Shift Kits? I had one started a couple weeks ago. That is when I installed one of those kits on my 97 F150 4.2L. I love it! Definately one of the best mods I have done yet with out spending and arm and leg! I liked it enough to purchase some extra kits and am reselling them for less than any price you will find on the web. I would recommend doing a search for B&M Electronic Shift kits on the Transmission section and in the Classifieds of this website.
