Question Warranty Effects…

I’ve been trying to convince the boss, that I need to upgrade the shifting habits of my ’97. I have a Trans-go kit on my ’72 Cutlass and love it, now am thinking about adding one to my truck. Does anyone know if the addition of said kit would effect the extended warranty? I’ve had a couple of sluggish shifting problems that I’m hoping the shift kit will eliminate. Thanks in advance for your information.

Rob

When I considered putting a shift kit on my '93 F150 it was still under waranty. I was told by the dealer that if they installed the kit, they would honor the factory waranty if any problems came up. They wouldn't promise that another Ford dealer would honor the waranty.
