Converting to synthetics??

Is it ok to convert to synthetics using a flush machine? Old dino fluid out and new synthetic in.

Who makes a Mercon V synthetic. Mobile 1 says theirs is Mercon?

I believe Amsoil meets Mercon V specs. I could be wrong because i havent seen a bottle. If you do a search in here you might find your answer.

AMSOIL meets the Mercon V spec. Here's a link to AMSOIL's ATF product data.

Mobile 1 does not meet the Mercon V req.

Redline D4 ATF does.

Shifting was smoother after Amsoil

After converting my 5 speed manual, the shifting was much smoother. I can't help but think that is lubricating better.
