Vibration in 4x4

Great forums!....I'm new to trucks and just got a '02 SCREW last month. I read here that I should drive in 4WD for a few mile each month to keep things lubed and when I did it last night I got a not so subtle vibration (not quite a grind) from the front end at low speeds...is this normal? As I said I'm a newbie so any help would be appreciated

Hi 8iron,

The best advise I can give you is: do not engage 4 wheel drive on hard packed ground or hot top. If you did, that was probably the wooble you felt, its the front and back axles kind of fighting each other while your trying to turn. I believe it states in the manual not to engage on hot top. Now, even when your on grass or snow you still feel the slight wooble at low speeds, I don't think its abnormal. Hope this helps.
