Are you running a chip along with the shift kit? If so and it isn't set up to compensate for the Transgo, both it and the shift kit raise pressure and it will shift VERY hard. I've experienced this first hand on my SuperCrew.

Why do you say we should not use the Transgo kit for my 4R70W?

Yep, that means you got it in and it's working. I went with 3 and ended up 3 plus some and yes, it can hit hard. But normal driving it's just nice a "crisp. You get a little pat on the rear end quite a bit as it shifts.

Still like to know why CHADSIX says not to use the TransGo in an AOD tranny.

I don't have an answer for his comment but I don't believe that this is an informed response. I've put many shift kits in and this one works as well as any install.

I thought that would be your response.....

By the way, has your video returned yet?

Have you been able to log onto the other site this morning? I get error pages on the forum.

Thanks again for the video loan!

I wasn't trying to discredit your input or anything like that! I am shocked by his input and would like to hear his thoughts.

I'm curious about all the differences in results after the Transgo install. I had the Superchip in before installing the E4OD TG kit. I thought Mike T. said the basic SC program is set up to accept the shift kit in level 1, but may require a tuning with any other levels. Mike, sorry if I've mis-spoken.
I also started on level 2 (.094-.082-.094) w/a Sonnax valve replacement. I have a pretty even shift across the board. Really sweet with the new synthetic ATF. Normal driving gives a quick, firm, comfortable shift. At WOT again, pretty even, and a little more kick. Nowhere near chirping tires, although w/ 22's and A4WD I don't expect to lay rubber. Anyway, I want to go back and punch out to around .110-.094-.110 to see if it stays as even. Do you think I will notice the change? I can't afford to keep opening this thing up! Also, If you need to go bigger (holes), is the plate even necessary?
