4R70W service manual?

Does anyone know where I can obtain a decently priced manual that covers the 4R70W (AODE)? My Haynes and Chilton fail to cover what I want to see. Do the factory type service manual I see on e-bay for 5-18 bucks cover the tranny?

They have one here but they don't specifically state that the '97 4R70W is covered. http://www.atsgmiami.com/cart/Category.Cfm?Cat=27

You can purchase a manual at: http://www.txchange.com/main.htm

They also have fair prices on the TransGo shift kit if you're still thinking about that.

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. It looks like they sell the same manual, txchange.com's manual does state AODE-4R70W. I will try to call sometime soon and get a price and maybe order. I might try to see if I can get the software copy too along with the TSB CD-ROM. Call me an info freak but I like having all the info from several sources before I do anything.

Yes, I still plan on a shift kit but feel it would do the most good when the truck is running at tip-top shape. No sense in adding a shift kit if the whole tranny needs to be redone. Now mind you I do not plan to rebuild my own tranny even with 10 books on a 4R70W, I'll leave that to the pros. Like I said before I liked to be well informed of what, how, and why.
