Question help me go faster

Ok I'm learning this system. Who can tell me why my truck will not smoke the tires? Not that it doesn't run well just that I can't shake the chevy guys. Changed the exhaust to Gibson, air intake is K&N. Now I think the tranny is sliping. This my first Ford and I love it but I'm taking alot of crap from these other guys.

If you have a 4.6L, you won't ever give a 1999 or newer Chevy a good run.
If you have a 5.4L, get a chip. It will help performance and tranny shifts. If your out to beat a Chevy w/ a 5.3L in a drag race, you will not win. Unless you buy a supercharger, or you both are pulling 5000 lbs.
Chevy's w/ the 5.7L 98's and older, you shouldn't have a prob. stock.
Anyway, get a chip and maybe some pullys and you can give a Chevy a run for it's money.
That's one thing the Silverados have, a snappy V8 in the high end.

Your best bet is to go to the top of this page and click on "F150online forums". Then take a look at the options. There is a lot of great info here it just takes a while to figure out where to find it. If you post a question in the section that relates to it, you are more likely to have the people you want (the ones with the answers) see it.
Take a look in the "computer chips" section. It's a great place to start!

Have fun!

Not to be a smart a_ _ , but.... If you wan't to slap a hurting on any truck on the road, trade your truck in for a SVT Lighting, and your problems will be over......
