Unhappy When pulling tranny filter off,whats with the orange o ring?

When you pull the filter down what do you do with or where do you put the o ring ?

If you are refering to the orange O ring on the inlet (TOP) of the filter, discard it, there is a new one on the new filter. Use the new one only.
