A piece of advice needed

Hi,
I changed the fluid recently (all 14 quarts) putting in Valovine DuraBlend ATF…
It looks like it improved mpg and added some power (maybe) and it sounds quieter (maybe)
But the pan and converter are sweating - there are no drops on the pavement and fluid level does not change but I can see some signs of the fluid on the pan and converter if I look under the truck. And the signs don't dry meaning that something is coming constantly out.
I understand that nothing is perfect… but let me ask this: do I need to worry about it, do I need to tighten the gasket a little or I can break it?
I changed the fluid on a dealer site – do I need to ask them to fix it?
All inputs will be greatly appreciated,
Alex.

Mine leaked for a little while after I changed the fluid because I had actually over-tightened the pan gasket. It stopped leaking when I loosened each of the pan gasket bolts a bit.

Did you check the torque converter drain plug and make sure that it's securely installed???

Also check and see if you can find exactly where the fluid is leaking from. See if it's coming from the transmission extention housing where the driveshaft is connected.

I'm a firm believer in the "you broke it, you fix it" mentality. Take it back if you can't see how to solve it yourself.

Cool AB-

It should be dry. That's too short of a time for seepage. Clean and monitor it until you see the leak location. Investigate and rule out spills. If someone else did it, take it back. Good Luck.

Cool

HI!... Mabey your torque converter drain plug was torqued improperly and is leaking. If that's what it is, when you drive your truck the wind passing under the truck then blows the tranny fluid to the rear of the truck. Check your T/C drain plug.

Talking AB maybe your oil level is too high

I changed mine yesterday and drained as much oil out as is possible without tearing the tranny apart. It only needed 13 qt. to refill and I even drained the coolers and let everything sit for 24 hrs. Check your oil level with tranny at operating temp. 14 qts sounds like too much oil.
