Unhappy No new tranny for me

Well after much research and digging around, my dealer and I both concluded that the 4R70W is indeed the correct tranny for my truck. The source manual is really vague on the 4R100 in California issue, but once you dig in and read on it you have to have either the 7700 tow package or a 5.4 L 4x4. Sorry if I gave any of you guys false hope on a potential Ford messup.

So it's back to summit to get the correct Transgo shift kit.
