Where is the serpentine adjustment?

When I accelerate hard, my truck screeches a bit on the 1-2 shift. (From the superchip). Where/how do I adjust the serp. belt to eliminate this (assuming this is indeed the problem).

Thanks,

Ken

Post this under engines and you will get more replies but, you do not adjust the belt. The serpentine belt has rides on a spring loaded adjuster. If the belt is squealing maybe you could spray some belt dressing on it.
Good luck

Send a message via ICQ to Matt90GT
time to replace the belt. There is a wear indicator on the self adjusting unit. Most likely your belt is glazed and needs to be replaced.
