Alright, so i have 2 f150's, 1998 f150 2wd 248k 4.6 vin #6 with a bad transmission. The other truck is a 2000 f150 4x4 esof 175k with a blown 5.4 but a good transmission. My question is if the 4x4 transmission could replace my 2wd one without any problems such as the torque converter needing to be changed, the wiring harness, etc? I already figured if i use the 4x4 transmission i have to use the transfer case, drive shaft, & might as well swap out the rear end while I'm at it. Any help would be much appreciated!!
