Just sayin, but with the discount I give members here I probably could have saved you quite a bit on parts that are guaranteed for this purpose. I build transmissions for vehicles over 1000hp daily and provide the same parts I use and I am SUPER picky. You cannot go off of the prices on my website. Those are list. Wish you would have called.

I know a few people who have bought these at my suggestion and the parts have been good so far.

Thank you again!

I am definatly going to look into getting the new planet set. Now I have the full set of bearings for the 70, do you have a Ford PN for the specific sun gear/shell bearing you are talking about? Obviously I do not need the ring gear since mine reads the 6 holes.

Rebuild nearly done.

Tuff plate with certain holes enlarged per the truck version of the Jmod. It appears nearly twice as thick as the stock plate. And yes it includes a small cylindrical metal cap that softens the blow from the 2-3 accumulator cover that slams the seperator plate.
The valve body also got the enhanced sonnax parts installed.

Sonnax 3 loop retainer with punched down retainer. A few more punch downs than 6. More like 36 punch downs.
Almost ready to put the pan back on. I almost forgot the little spiral pin that retains the manual shift lever on the bottom. The overdrive piston was upgraded to the sonnax shaft, it has an o ring and a washer that firms up the 3-4 shift.
Don't forget the little spiral pin that goes here.
The manual shift rod seal had a metal ring around it. I carefully pounded it out with a screwdriver and in was able to replace it with a fully rubber part from my rebuild kit. The speed sensor and electrical pass through connector also got fresh o-rings.
