Hi, have an issue now with a 2014 F150 FX4 3.5L 3.73, about 30000km. Yesterday tried starting truck, could not, 'P' not lit with key turned to 'on' position.....with key still in 'on' and brake applied tried to move shifter out of park....seemed jammed....eventually got shifter free and able to start truck with trans in 'N'. Trans will mechanically shift into park but 'P' indicator on dash stays dark....will not start in park....all other gear positions will indicate properly on dash. Brake fuse is ok. This truck has spent the last two weeks driving over roads that are almost completely impassable by 4x4 and dragging bottom when pulled in to location by dozer sometimes (drilling rig access in western Canada). What are possible causes of this glitch? Thx for any info.
