Strange tranny leak and sudden burst of smoke????

Been on this site for several years but this is my first post! I have a 2011 F-150
3.7 auto screw with a 5Star programer. While returning home from a weekend camping trip pulling a 28 footer at 70 mph all was well.....so i thought. Going up a long tough hill it dropped down to 4th at about 60 mph and all of the sudden i see smoke coming from under my truck. I stopped and noticed that what appeared to be tranny fluid leaking from the line near the tranny pan. Tranny never got past 199 degrees. Not leaking bad so i drove on home while stopping often to check and got home and checked on concrete and not a drop or leak to be found. It is almost like it blew it out of the drain fill bit there does not appear to be one. Any thoughts on why it is not leaking or where it came from?? Drives and shifts fine.
