Hi, I have a 2004 XLT 4x4 5.4L. When I drive in snow in 4HI, the 4x4 disengage itself and the truck fall to 2WD. 4HI light still on. If I brake to stop the truck, wait few second and then release the brake pedal to drive, the 4x4 works good again, and then it disengage after few seconds.

I'm pretty sure it's a TC problem but I have searched the forums to find a solution without good answers.

I'm sure it's not an IWE problem, if the IWE were not working the 4x4 will be engaged all the time (minus the TC / front driveshaft in 2WD mode). The truck drives really good in 2WD.

Any advices? Thanks!
