I just bought a 2001 F150 last week With the 4R70AOD, Started with a slow transition into different selections like from park to drive or drive to reverse. Yesterday it would not go in reverse. neutral was what seemed to be " drive" drive was drive first was first second was second. I changed the tranny fluid and filter since it needed it anyway and I the tranny fluid had a burnt smell to as well. after I put new fluid and new filter in, then had reverse no problem but anything to shift to a gear to move the truck forward was like neutral. I saw a post from like ten years ago on here and it said that a similar problem was the 2-3 actuator..is it possible? thanks
