1997 f150 4.6 engine and tranny swap
Hi and thanks in advance for information. I have a '97 f150 XLT 4WD 4.6L engine VIN code 6 with 248,000 + miles. I also have a 2003 Crown Vic LX with 4.6L engine VIN W. I know the engine and tranny will swap out from the Crown Vic to the truck but how difficult/possible is it to connect the transfer case for the 4x4 to the Crown Vic tranny or if it's even interchanges? I don't want to swap one without the other due to age and torque/hp differences.
