help identifying torque converter for swap

Hi, Is there any way to ID the Type and spec of the torque converter from the transmission tag on a 4r100 ? I have a 2000 f150 with 5.4l 4r100. I want to replace the trans and converter with one from a 2000 Expedition 4.6l 4r100. I can't find how to ID what version converter is in the Expedition. Several online guides call for both low stall and high stall version converters with the 4.6l and 4r100. I want to buy the transmission from a parts Expedition but don't want to drop it only to find it has an incompatible converter for my truck. HELP, there must be some way to externally ID the TC. Anyone know how or can you point me to a source that has the info?
I can get more info from the Expedition if needed. it was a fleet truck and ordered with nonstandard configuration. It is marked as a XLT but has rubber floor instead of carpet but has cloth seats, has full time 4 wheel drive
and 3rd row seat delete. It is way out in the sticks and would require a 45 min drive to get details like axle ratio.

I don't think they ever put a 4R100 behind the 4.6L

regardless, as far as I know, 4R100 torque converters have 3 flavors; 5.4L= 4 stud
6.8L = 6 stud, Diesel = 6 stud, low stall.

They didn't put a 4R100 behind a 4.6L.

The reason I was asking is that on fords parts site , they have a converter part listed for the 4.6 and 4r100. That's why I was trying to figure out the converter situation. Must be a listing error on fords part site.
Turns out they guy has no clue about his truck. he sent me the vin and it originally came with the L code 5.4l . He states that when he got it, it had a 4.6 but later swapped in a 5.4 . Ether it was a bastardized truck when he got it or he is full of it.

I finally got the vin from him and went to check out the truck, It has a factory reman 4r100 in it. He tells me that when the current ruined 5.4 engine was put in it, the mechanic also swapped the torque converter to a 5.4 type because it had the 4.6 type in it. I am getting the whole truck for cheap and after I get all the parts I want, its going to the scrap yard. Mostly this is costing time and will give me a 4r100 to run in my truck while I rebuild my original.
