Pulling engine and tranny on 2002 F150

Is it possible to pull the engine and trans as one assembly on a 2002 F150? Im swapping both of them out. And was wondering if anyone had done it or if you would have to do them separately??

During assembly at the factory, the drivetrain is in place before the cab goes on. I would suspect that you MIGHT be able to get the tranny and engine out in one piece, but it would be much easier on you, and damage free to the truck to separate the two. Probably easiest to pull the tranny first, then engine, and then reverse the process to put it back together...

pull the cab and it can be done, but unless you have a lift, good luck with that!
