95 F150 transmission jerk
This will be long but i need help!
Bout this 95 f150 with a 351 in it and a c6 transmission 20bolt pattern.
It has about 156000 miles when i got it and i have added about 2000 in the last 4months. Thia truck wasvoriginally for pulling so i know it has been ragged on
2 thibgs are happening and i dont know if its my transmissiob or a fuel problem. I have the dual gas tanks but the front tank was removed for stacks. my truck seems to wanna shut off when its idling and im having a problem shifting into 2nd gear. Mind u my vexhile is autonatic. So once i hit about 25 it wants to slam into gear and my rpm goes up to maybe abkut 4000. Once i hit 40 it seems fine but it slams back down into 20. I literally have to slam my foot to get it to shift but once it does its fine
What i have done:
Did my rear end....meaning spider gears pinion fluid
I replaced my tps thinking maybe that was it. I also did my transmission filter and flyid however i didnt do the fluid in my torque converter. When i did this filter change i had a lot of metal shavings not big ones but a lot. Now im stuck with maybe it being my FDM fuel filter nuetral saftey switch or the valve maybe evem the shift solenoid....worse maybe the gears are worn....any suggestions or similar stories.....plz help running outta money and patience

There is no TV cable with a C6. It used vacuum, not a cable.
Replacing electrical parts on a C6 is a real waste of money. The transmission is not electrically controlled, it is controlled by a vacuum signal.
Check the vacuum line to the vacuum modulator. The modulator is at the rear of the pan on the passenger's side of the trans. Pull the rubber line off the modulator and see if there is any fluid inside. If there is the modulator has failed and must be replaced.
