My 2003 Sport trac has started to do something odd. and I have no way to describe it other than a soft shutter when put in reverse.
when its put in reverse you can feel a slight pull of the truck almost like its trying to start to go backwards it will shutter the entire time i reverse but when i go forward its fine.
it doesnt try to stall, and its not violent just a soft stutter and you can hear it

Ok this is where i will stupid describing it but heck i know no other way to explain it

humm bump humm bump humm bump the bump is a soft jerk

Now I feel like a idiot.. could someone give me advice.....
