Angry 1998 f150 4r70w problems

Have a 98 f150 4r70w having shifting problems. Truck drives fine when you first start out. ( as in sitting all night) put it in drive and it drives fine goes through all gears, including stop light and any speed traffic. After warmed up I can stop lets say at the store and come back out. Start the truck put it in drive and it wants to jump in and out of first. Give it gas it will go 2 feet then jump out. Staying on the gas and letting it pop in (slam in) it drives fine after that, drive where ever you want until you stop and turn truck off and restart again while warm. Let truck sit for a good few hours once cooled of drives fine. Fluid is full and new as well as filter also no codes when scanned. Hoping easy fix, please let me now your suggestions on fixing tranny. Thanxs

Hoping not.... Cause everything works fine when it finally clicks in drive and starts going. No slipping or jumping till shifter is moved to different position then back to drive for take off. Still trying to get some more suggestions before that route. I was also told it could be the govenor pressure sensor. Which in that cause ill have to drop valve body.

It is unlikely that it is the governor pressure sensor causing your problem since only Chrysler transmissions have those. Ford transmissions do not have them.

Problem fixed. Was neutral safety switch. While running unplugged switch no slipping. Bought new one, installed shifts great.

Are you sure you want ANY feedback? My feedback is that you should start a new thread instead of hijacking another thread.
