Hello all. I have a 2002 ford f150 4.6 with a 4r70w tranny. I just put all new clutches ect inside, rebuilt valve body and put back in. I still have no forward gears. not even a slip. nothing. reverse works well. any ideas?

 

My guess is that the planetary one way clutch is either failed or installed backwards.

 

The forward clutch is not engaging. did you replace the clutch piston seals? did you use the lip seal protectors?

this is why you should air test all the clutches before the transmission gets installed in the vehicle.
