Transmission ?

New guy with a 2013 XLT 4x4.5.0 3:55 locker with 3400 miles on it, My question is I'm having a problem on a Steady cruise it feels like my trans is lightly jerking or skipping, is anyone had this problem? It seems to be really noticeable on any Incline! Thanks

Let the dealer sort this one out while the warranty is involved....Don't ask the forum unless the dealer is useless. Just please keep the thread updated with what you found out for future reference.

I don't think Sam really meant to tell you not to ask questions in the forum, that's being rather unfriendly. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

Let's rephrase his advice:

This is not normal behavior, and something is not right. Being that it's a new truck and under warranty, I would recommend you address this with your dealer. Please keep us posted on what they find.

My 2011 does not do this. Very smooth. As previously advised, I would take it in for check out. Could be as simple as needing the computer reflashed.

Thanks GLC...You knew what I meant..bad choice of words. Just not to jovial lately since the diabetes gods have found me.

To the OP....I didn't mean not to post questions, only meant to advise to let the dealer check it out.....keep us informed.

Well the dealership said they only felt it onetime and they checked everything. So I guess I'll wait until it gets to bad to drive and maybe then they can fix it?

Never have washed the engine, but they said with all the rain that it could be from that.
