2005 f150 4x4 problem
i took my truck to a dealer for a 4x4 inspection because it seemed like the brakes were locking when i make a turn in 4x4. with a list of problems including a new transfer shift motor, it was beyond my current funds. When asked to pack it up for now they said the transfer was stuck in 4 low, i told them it worked fine when i brought it in and they returned it to me with the dash switch not working but back in 2 wheel drive. what might they have done to disable the switch, when asked the said they did not disable it and want to charge me to look at it again to find this new problem. the dash switch is dead, nothing happens when it is switched
