Is the factory tech seperator plate worth it, how hard is the shifts. Coupling it with my edge evo I know it will be harder. The harder the shifts the better for me. I like chirping tires. Nother question would a different type of converter in the trans give me more performance? Its a 99 f150 5.4 with 4rr70

 

If you use the right parts and make the right changes then a valve body mod is a great choice. Troyer Performance sells a great kit for example.

Also, on the converter, the right converter is absolutely the best bang for the buck mod that you can do on an automatic vehicle. The key is getting the right converter.

my trucks has nothing but bolt ons merely stock i guess what would be the best tq converter to buy? my stock tranny will sometime grab 2nd gear on its upshift alot, all i have done is u/d pullies, cai, edge evo. finishing up buying my exhaust pieces to have welded up, and i got a mark VIII fan and controller waiting to be put in.
