downshift clunk

Recently when I go to pass on highway, it
ll downshift, but I feel much more fo a brutal bang into gear... I was thinking trans mount, but on hard take offs, I notice nothing, nor when brake torqueing I feel no bang... Just when cruising I feel a harder than normal downshift

I am having the same problem. Seems to kick around the center console (not every time) when downshift going up hill. Had the fluid changed but made no difference. Transmission mount?

Mine did that before I got the edge and the 4:56s. I was told that it had to do with the transmission wear. I have no clue, because I dont know anything about them really. I found that changing my shift points was all that I needed to do to solve that, but since I have gotten the 4:56s I never drop out of overdrive when I pass people.
