Changing Transmission Cooling Line 97 F150
I'm going to attempt changing the cooling lines for my 97' f150 with aux cooler because i had a leak in one due to rust. I did a search, but didn't find any hints or things I should look out for when doing this change. I'm assuming that since the lines are for cooling, I don't want air to get in them, but I don't know about a way to prevent this. I was just going to pull the old lines, plug the holes as best I can and swap in the new lines and then pour in the 17qts of oil. There is snow on the ground here, I don't have a garage or a lift. Anyone have any advice to prevent this turning into a horror story...
here's a pic and previous thread where I thought it was power steering..
