towing my 2008 f150 four wheel down

I have a 2008 f150 2x4 with an auto trans , can I tow this truck four wheel down as long as I let the motor idle (to circulate the trans fluid)
Most of the time I would be going less than 120 miles one way
I will be towing it with a motorhome

What are you towing your F150 with, an RV? I'm not even sure that you have to leave the motor running. Since it's a 4x2, I believe you can just put it in neutral and go. I'm sure others with more experience on this matter will chime in.

What does your owner's manual say? I'm betting you need to pull the driveshaft.
