2005 trans ??

I have a 2005 f150 with the 5.4. i noticed a clunk and a hard jerk sometimes when my tranny downshifts. I notice this more when it downshifts going up a hill more than on the flat road. and it also feels like the tranny is slipping a little too. anyone have this problem? i dont want to have to replace my tranny yet!!
