My 07 fx4 seems to be slipping a bit at higher speeds..ie, anywhere from 80km/hr and up, if I accelerate (passing), the transmission seems like its slipping, no real power, basically can't pass. its not bad with the truck by itself, but even with a light load such as an aluminum snowmobile trailer with a single snowmobile on it, its pretty bad. Truck has had a fairly easy life, no heavy towing at all, just snowmobiles or small fishing boat once in a while.
is there any other transmission tsb for this truck other than FORD TSB # 8-14-3, which doesn't seem to apply in this case? I have a scangaugeII reader and it is not showing any codes at all. Mileage is 80,000km. Just dropped trans pan and oil looks and smells brand new (dumped the pan oil and topped up with merconV)
