What trans. do I have?
I am looking into buying an RCD lift kit for my truck, but first I need to know which transmission it has. It is a 2003 F-150 4x4 AUTOMATIC with the FX4 package. Is it the E4OD, or the 4R70W? Thanks in advance!

Last year of the E4OD was 1998. It was replaced with the 4R100, which is only used in the Lightning and the 7700# package. You can confirm what tranny you have by the trans code on the door jamb sticker.

If your trans code is U then you do have the 4R70W.
