1997 f150 4x4 4.6 4r70w

hello i had another question if anyone knows would the stock original torque converter have a drain plug? i have dropped the pan changed the filter and fluid and now would like to drain the converter if possible to change the fluid i'm hoping i can save the tranny for another couple thousand miles of easy driving it was flashing a tcc code but acts ok on the highway but slips upon intial take off but doesn't if i lock it in low 4x4 range any thoughts or ideas thanks guys

The original TC has a drain plug. They didn't remove it till sometime in 2001 I believe.

i'm sure draining the tc and changing the fluid would help some but i'm more wandering if my tranmission issues have anything to do with the tcc solenoid not operrating correctly?
