transmission swap.. doesnt engage till 2000 rpm HELP

i just swapped transmissions on my 98 f150 4r70w tranny

now when i hooked everything back up i am having a problem with it, it like the tranny is slipping or something it doesn't engage in gear till i hit around 2000 rpms in any gear 1 2 D and R does the exact thing for all of the gears.

also something else that i have noticed is that when its in drive or 1st or 2nd gear on a flat surface and idling it starts to roll backwards a little instead of creep forward.

ive looked though the forums and cant find nothing on this ive been out in the garage for 3 days not messing with this, any help would be awesome thanks

Where did the transmission that you swapped in come from?
