Transmission troubles in my 2000 ford f-150

I swapped out my 2000 ford f-150 v6 4.2l transmission 4r70w with a transmission out of a 2004 f-150 heritage v6 4.2l 4r70w now my truck is only shifting 1st and 2nd then don't want to shift to 3rd and the speed odometer is going crazy it will say I'm going 100 mph when I'm doing 10 please help

2004 transmission is not compatible. Different output shafts. You need a 2000-2003 4.2 transmission.

The output shaft ring gear changed in 2004. 2004 and newer has 24 slots. 2003 and older has 6 holes.

Your 2000 PCM is looking for a signal from the speed sensor based off of 6 holes.
