Question 05 fluid everywhere after new shortblock

Ok, now I have only put 3000 miles on new shortblock, I was coming down my block and the truck started to slip, I drove less than 1 block parked the truck and looked at dipstick, nothing no trans fluid. I look underneath the truck and there is trans fluid pouring out from between the engine block and the trans. Since the engine was just put in less than 3000 miles ago, Am I right in thinking it was related..... BTW TRUCK just turned 66,000 miles with the trans fluid and filter changed at 30 and 59 000 miles. I was thinking a SEAL was nicked? Is there a seal There? By the torque converter? New shortblock because old motor hydrolocked due to injector sticking .. PLEASE HELP ANY THOUGHTS?
