Another Transmission problem...!!

Okay, I have a 05' F150 Supercrew FX4. It has 115,000 on it and performed flawlessly until now... Today i was on the interstate with the cruise on about 75mph. When I came up on a hill the trans automatically downshifted out of OD. The problem is when the truck tried to downshift out of OD it seemed to had gotten stuck...?? The rpms just kept jumping... (kind of likw bucking I guess...?) So, I hit the brakes and gave it gas manually and it did fine. Once I got off the interstate it drove and shifted fine...? I did get back up to around 75mph and tried to accelerate and it did the same thing....? So the problem seems to only be when the truck tries to downshift from OD..? Please help...! Thanks fella's...

J

That sucks man, My 04 Lariat 4x4 has 115k too. My overdrive went out on Saturday and some other gears are acting goofy. I found a used trans for $1250 and the trans shops going to install it for $500. I didn't want to screw with rebuilding it. Good luck
