Transmission help!!!

Hi i have a 2001 F150 Super Crew with 100k miles. I have oil changed regularly and had the tranny fluid just changed. Lately every now and then when i stop at a light and then start up again it will rev higher then it should and then like slams in gear and kindof jumps.it aslo does it sometimes after i go from park to drive and give it gas. Can somebody help please??? Thanks

Sounds like the 1-2 accumulator. From what I have read here, its a comon problem with these transmissions. That being said, I'm not shure I would drive the truck untill you fix it.I have the same truck as you, and mine did the exact same thing as yours, only mine did it once then it internaly exploded. Before that I'd check the fluid level. That sounds like low fluid to me. Check it with the trans warmed up and parked on a level surface with the engine idling in park.
