Drag racing gears

well i plan on doing some track time this summer. I heard putting some gears on these trucks makes a big difference. I don't do much freeway driving. once in a blue moon. I have just Intake as a mod and a muffler back.I plan on adding long tubes, a tune and a 100shot. just want to get some good recommendations on a set of gears?

#1: you need to get a seperator plate from Mike Dunn

#2: 4.10 gears

#3: I've heard that the mercury marauder had a close ratio 4r70 maybe you could use parts from one of those cars and modify your 4r70W

4.10 gears for sure.
That will get you going off the line quicker.
