Sea Foam Transtune
My 04 has about 59k on it and I was wondering if anyone has ever put seafoam transtune in their transmission

I wouldnt. Just change the fluid. Dont screw around with snake oils. Properly maintained trannys will last 200k. Change the oil every couple of years.

Guess I am an overachiever......My trans has almost 250K on it. Put a shift kit in at 30K, and change the fluid and filter every 30K. Should easily make it to 300K.

dont take any chances with that stuff. regular fluid and filter changes is all u need.

The only time you should put anything except transmission fluid into a transmission is to try to cure a specific issue temporarily (such as seal leaks) until you can do a teardown.

The only thing that Transtune probably does is make the clutch packs swell to eliminate any slipping. Add brake fluid would accomplish the same thing pending you put in the correct amount and didn't over do it. Otherwise too much brake fluid and it would eat them away.
