weird tranny leak

Hey

I have had a recent leak coming from the black plug at the front of my 4R100. The funny thing is that the leak is only occuring at very cold temps. I live in Northern Canada so I'm talking like at -15F or -25C in around that temp. Usually any warmer temps and the tranny won't leak from that spot. If a seal was gone in the front of the tranny would it not leak all the time? The thing can leak anywhere from 1 litre to a slow drip depending on how far I drive and how cold it actually is. Really not sure what's up. Any help or thoughts greatly appreciated.
