2004 F150 with MSOF 4x4 Problem 4High light intermittent

Hello I was wondering if anyone out there may be able to answer my question. I recently bought a 2004 f150 and it has the manual shift on the fly 4 wheel drive. When I put it in 4 wheel High the light on the dash does not come on if you jiggle the stick while its in 4H the light will flicker on and off. When its in 4L the light comes on just fine. The truck still engages and disengages 4H which leads me to belive its just the sensor. I found the sensor that tells the dash to light up and cleaned the contacts, but it still does it. Does anyone know if I need to replace the sensor, and if so what is the name and part number of this sensor. Thank you for the help.

Unhappy Replaced oil switch it still doesnt work?

Can anyone please help?
I found the snsor but it was a switch and it is on the transfer case its called the oil switch. I replaced it and I am still having the same problem. I took a reading with a mulitmeter and in 4LO I am getting a high on the switch and in 4HI I am getting nothing. Is this normal? Is there another indicator switch just for 4HI?
