Torque Converter or transmission or ???

Torque Converter or transmission or ???

My truck was acting a little weird……well lets start off…. I trash my truck everyday it’s had HARD life.

When I would drive down the highway it would make a…over rev/slipping noise around 75-80. I would stomp on it and it would rev and then hit hard and take off….. I think the first owner reset the shift points.. Not sure…may not be related to my problem now….

Well I pulled out of work this morning and decided to send the ol truck sideways on the wet road…..it rev’ed hard and popped…. no forward gears or revs gears ….it has no movement when you put it in gear and gas it…. It dose make a small cluck, cluck, cluck sound…..

It's a 4R70W in that truck.

It might be a broken torque converter or it might be a broken input shaft on the transmission. Regardless, the problem isn't good and the transmission is going to need to be gone through because there is metal involved.
