I have a problem!

i have a 2002 F-150 4.6L Regency i bought it with 10,000 mi it was pretty much stock except for the exhaust that regency put on it, but now it has 45,000 miles, but ever once and awhile when i would be driving and then slow down then speed back up it was like my tranny couldnt catch up or something and it would shift weird, i thought it was because i had 20in rims, but latley its been doing it more often, any suggestions? thanks.
