Talking How much power can my stock 06 F150 transmission safely hold?

Well now that I have stumbled across the STS Turbo kit for my 4.6l F150 I am wondering if I will have any tranny problems after the install. The transmission is factory stock on my 06 4wd F150. It's an automatic and I was thinking of possibly putting a small stall converter in it once I get everything buttoned up with the turbo kit. But will the internals be fine for what the STS kit puts out? I wouldn't think I would go over 350rwhp most likely but it does make around 450lbs of torque.

Just curious as to what the tranny can safely hold in case I want to up the boost later on.

I think 450 rwtq would be pushing a 4R75.

more important that what the trans can "technicaly" hold is how hard you are going to drive it and since your installing a turbo i would predict your trans will not last more than a few weeks to a few months if your lucky but a shift kit and BIG cooler will prolong it alittle bit

personally, i would pull the transmission out before turboing the truck, and take it to a performance transmission shop and have them upgrade some of the internals. this would be cheaper than dicing it and risk having to contend w/ a rebuild, which could cost up to $2000. a shift kit/valve body/aux trans. cooler will only get you so far...
