were you moving when you pushed the button?

the button doesnt stay in, its just a push button that activates a switch of some sort.

go out, start the truck and hit the button. look at the end of the shifter and see if the light comes on that says off. if it doesnt then you have a problem.

you wont notice an rpm change unless you are moving and you cycle the OD.

did you check to see if the light comes on when you push the OD button? while youre already in the truck with it on go ahead and take it for a spin. get up to about 30 and push the OD button. if you dont notice an rpm change then you have a problem.

Have you checked the fuses? If it is an electronic switch, surely it has one?
