Oil Leak

It looks like my transmission lines to oil cooler have a slight leak on the compression fit rubber lines. My question is could i cut the rubber lines out flair the lines and use hydraulic hose with gear clamps. How much pressure is on these lines also its a 04 f150 lariat with a 5.4l.

Yes you can, but those lines going to the cooler aren't that expensive thru your dealer. Give him your vin and he can look them up, usually have them overnight. We do this all the time for customers.

2004? Take it to the dealer. You're still under warranty.
