Anyone run Royal purple?

I just picked up a case of Royal Purple Max ATF today for my 04 F-150. I figgure it has 35,000 miles of towing and snow plowing so I should change it and go with the best. Only once has the tranny hit 170' and that was on the freeway going 70+ with the plow on the front. Most of the time it is about 135 in the city and 150 if I plow or go on the freeway. I figure if the RP works as well as they say, I should be able to average 140' on the freeway and plowing.

Going to have it flushed and the filter changed and refilled with the RP next week some time. I will let everyone know if I feel a difference.

You will need more than a case. A case is 12 quarts. Your transmission takes 13.9 quarts. At my dealership, the MOC Flush requires 16 quarts to operate. Check with your service department. Ask them how many quarts you will need to bring in.

I got a case of 16. I am fairly sure my truck calls for 14.5.
